Derek's Mobile Wash is a one-man local business, and this policy is as simple as the business is: we collect what's needed to wash your vehicle, and nothing else happens to it.

What we collect

When you book: your name, phone number, email (optional), service address, vehicle details, and any notes you add.
Nothing else. No accounts, no passwords, no tracking cookies on the booking site. Our host (Cloudflare) provides basic, anonymous visit counts.

How it's used

Scheduling and performing your wash.
Appointment text messages, but only if you checked the optional consent box (confirmation, one reminder, scheduling updates, one thank-you) — see the SMS terms. Text consent is optional and is never required to book or receive service.
Ordinary business records.

What we never do

Sell or rent your information. To anyone. Ever.
Use it for advertising or marketing lists.
Text you anything beyond your own appointments.

Who touches the data

Only the services that make the business run: our text-message provider (to deliver your appointment texts), calendar scheduling, and website hosting. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Text messages

Text messages are optional. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase and is not required to book or to receive service. If you opt in, message frequency varies with your bookings — typically 2–3 messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

Mobile information of the end user opting in to the message program will never be shared or sold to third parties. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text to end messages immediately.
Want your info corrected or deleted? Call or text Derek at (760) 490-2944 and it's done.

Changes

If this policy changes, the update is posted here with a new effective date.
